When the temperature decreases or humidity increases, the drying time may increase. At air temperatures below +15°C or
relative air humidity above 65%, apply the next coat no earlier than after 24 hours.
The paint is produced as Base A and can be tinted using a computer (machine) method. Base A is intended for tinting into light and pastel shades, and can also be used as a white paint.
Paint tinting can be carried out in accordance with NCS, RAL and other tinting systems; it is permissible to add up to 5% of tinting pastes by weight of the paint.
Manual tinting is possible using water-based tinting pastes. To avoid differences in shade on the same surface, use a product with the same batch number (see packaging) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio. The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the tinting result.
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface being painted, actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog. Before application, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color matching.
After adding tinting pastes, the product should be used as soon as possible to avoid changes in the properties of the tinted material during storage.
Substrate preparation
Substrate preparation should be carried out in accordance with SP 71.13330.2017. Clean the substrate of dust and dirt. Remove loose layers of old paint and whitewash from previously painted surfaces. Sand hard and firmly adhering glossy surfaces to a matte state, and remove sanding dust.
Level out irregularities, hollows, cracks, and chips with Bergauf UNI PASTA water-dispersion putty, then sand. Surfaces previously covered with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
Pre-prime intensely absorbent surfaces to increase coating reliability and reduce paint consumption. It is recommended to use primers from the Praktik line (depending on the type of substrate).
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in tightly closed containers at temperatures not less than +5°C and not more than +35°C. Five-fold freezing is allowed for a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at temperatures not lower than -40°C.
The bucket containing the product should be protected from excessive heat and storage under direct sunlight should be avoided. Subject to storage conditions, the guaranteed shelf life in closed original packaging is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, product separation may occur, which is easily eliminated by stirring. Keep partially used product in a tightly closed container and use as soon as possible.
Safety
The product is fire and explosion safe, and does not contain flammable components.
