Application technologyWork should be carried out in accordance with SP 293.1325800.2017.
Before application, the plaster must be thoroughly mixed, as product separation may occur during storage. Dilution of the plaster with water is allowed in an amount of no more than 5% of the material weight.
Apply the plaster with a stainless steel float at a 60° angle to the surface; the layer thickness should correspond to the grain size of the plaster. Within 25–35 minutes (depending on temperature and humidity) after application (once the material stops sticking to the tool), form the required texture using a plastic float. The plastic float should be held parallel to the surface, forming the texture with light movements without pressure.
The "pebble" texture is formed with small circular movements of the float directed in one way, usually counter-clockwise.
Application specificsIf it is necessary to stop work, masking tape is applied along the boundary of the plaster layer, which must be removed before the plaster hardens. To obtain a uniform texture, ensure a sufficient number of workers at each scaffolding level and perform the connection of sections between adjacent levels using the "wet-on-wet" method.
After application, the decorative plaster should be protected from direct sunlight, wind, and rain for the first 2–3 days. Under such conditions, it is recommended to cover the scaffolding with a special mesh or film and install flashings on the building. Do not allow freezing or overdrying.
Interior finishing should only be performed in well-ventilated rooms, and after completion of work, air circulation should be maintained until the coating is completely dry.
Subsequent workFor painting the decorative plaster surface, it is recommended to use acrylic, silicone, or silicate paints. Painting is carried out no earlier than 3–5 days later, depending on environmental conditions.
Tinting- Tinting is possible using water-based tinting pastes with high light and weather resistance, in accordance with NCS, RAL, and other tinting systems. Depending on the application conditions and the texture of the surface being painted, actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog.
- It is recommended to add no more than 5% colorant, as an overdose negatively affects the strength and workability of the coating application. To avoid color variation, it is recommended to use product from the same production batch on a single surface (batch No. is indicated on each package) or to pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged.
- The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the tinting result. Before application, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color compliance.
Color recommendationsIt is recommended to use «Bergauf FACADE GRUNT» primer in a color close to the color of the plaster being used.
The use of intense or dark colored materials with a reflection coefficient of less than 25% on facades should be limited to small surfaces, occupying no more than 10% of the facade, for example, individual architectural details.
Cleaning of toolsClean tools with water immediately after work. If the tools were not cleaned immediately, they can only be cleaned mechanically later.
RestrictionsIt is forbidden to work during precipitation, fog, on wet surfaces after rain, or at temperatures below +5°C and above +35°C.
SafetyAttention! The product is fire- and explosion-safe and does not contain flammable components.
