* Material consumption depends on the quality of surface preparation, application method, tools used, the skill level of the workers, and may differ from the indicated values.
** At t (+20±2) °C and relative air humidity of no more than (65±5) %. As the temperature decreases or humidity increases, the drying time may increase.
The paint can be tinted in accordance with NCS, RAL, and other tinting systems; it is permissible to add up to 5% of tinting pastes by weight of the paint.
To avoid differences in shade on a single surface, use a product with the same batch number (see on the packaging) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio. The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the result.
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface being painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog. Before use, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color compliance.
After adding tinting pastes, the product should be used as soon as possible to avoid changes in the properties of the tinted material during storage.
Surface preparation
Surface preparation should be carried out in accordance with SP 71.13330.2017. Clean the surface of dust and dirt. From previously painted surfaces, remove loose layers of old paint and whitewash. Hard and firmly adhering glossy surfaces should be sanded to a matte finish, and sanding dust should be removed.
Unevenness, depressions, cracks, and chips should be leveled with water-dispersion putty and sanded. Surfaces previously covered with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
Intensively absorbent surfaces should be primed beforehand to increase the reliability of the coating and reduce paint consumption. For manual application, to improve adhesion to low-absorbency and smooth mineral substrates, it is recommended to use Bergauf Facade Grunt adhesion primer.
It is recommended to use primers from the Praktik line (depending on the type of substrate), as well as putties.
Work procedure
The surface to be painted must be dry and clean. The temperature of the substrate and the environment for applying the paint must be between +5 °C and +35 °C, with a relative humidity of (65±5)%. When performing work, avoid exposure to direct sunlight, high humidity conditions, and precipitation.
Stir the paint thoroughly before use. To avoid differences in shade on a single surface, use product with the same batch number (see on the packaging) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio.
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface being painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from the reference ones. Before use, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for compliance with the desired color.
Application technology
Apply the paint with a brush, roller, or hopper gun in 1 layer onto the prepared surface. Parameters for spray application: for paint with a fraction size of 0.5 mm — 1.0 mm, pressure 3 atm, nozzle diameter 4 mm. More precise parameters are determined by test painting at the site.
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in a tightly closed container at a temperature of no less than +5°C and no more than +35°C. Freezing up to five times is permitted for a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at temperatures not lower than -40°C.
The bucket with the product should be protected from excessive heat and stored away from direct sunlight. Provided the conditions are met, the guaranteed shelf life in the original sealed packaging is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, the product may separate, which is easily corrected by stirring. Keep any remaining product in a tightly closed container and use it as soon as possible.
Safety
The product is fire and explosion-proof and does not contain flammable components.
