TINTING
The antiseptic is produced in two bases, A and C, and can be tinted using a computer (machine) method into a limited palette of colors from RAL, NCS, and other color catalogs. Base A is intended for tinting into light and pastel shades and can also be used as a white antiseptic; it is permissible to add up to 5% of tinting pastes by the weight of the paint. Base C is used only in a tinted form and is intended for tinting into saturated shades; it is permissible to add up to 10% of tinting pastes by the weight of the product. When painting in bright colors using base C, it is recommended to first apply a layer of base A antiseptic tinted in a similar shade. Manual tinting using water-based tinting pastes is possible.
The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the tinting result.
Depending on the application conditions and the texture of the surface being painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog.
Before application, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color compliance.
To avoid differences in shade, it is recommended to use a product from the same production batch on one visual plane (the batch number is indicated on each package) or to pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The surface to be treated must be dry and thoroughly cleaned of dirt, wax, grease, resin, and old paint or varnish coatings. Surfaces previously covered with other compounds must be cleaned of old peeling material, sanded, and dusted. Areas affected by blue stain and mold should be mechanically cleaned beforehand and treated with an antiseptic wood preservative.
Pre-treat the surface to be painted with Bergauf Wood Techno Aquaprim primer, and saturate the end grains.
 
PROCEDURE
The antiseptic must be thoroughly mixed before use. It is also recommended to periodically stir the product during work. The moisture content of the wood should not exceed 20%.
The surface to be treated must be dry and clean; the air and substrate temperature for work should be from +10°C, with a relative air humidity of no more than 80%.
The composition is applied with a brush, roller, or sprayer along the wood grain, along the entire length of the material being treated. If necessary, dilute the antiseptic with clean water, no more than 5% of the product volume.
It is necessary to treat the ends of the surface to be painted very thoroughly. Apply in 1-2 coats when applying indoors, and in 2-3 coats when applying outdoors.
The color intensity of the coating depends on the type of wood, the quality of surface preparation, and the number of coats applied. To determine the required color intensity, make a test patch on the surface to be painted.
It is recommended to use antiseptic from the same production batch. In case of using different batches, the product must be mixed in one container.
It is forbidden to carry out painting work during rain, fog, or drizzle.
After finishing work, clean the tools with water.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Work should be carried out using personal protective equipment for hands, eyes, and respiratory tract. Use in well-ventilated areas. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water. Seek medical advice if necessary. In case of contact with skin, wash with soap and water. Keep out of reach of children!

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Store and transport in a tightly closed container at a temperature of no less than +5°C and no more than +35°C. Freezing up to five times for a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at a temperature not lower than -40°C is permitted. The product container should be protected from excessive heat and stored away from direct sunlight. If conditions are met, the shelf life in the original sealed packaging is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
The product is fire- and explosion-proof and does not contain flammable components.

DISPOSAL
Do not pour the antiseptic into sewage systems, water bodies, or soil. Dispose of the container and liquid residues in accordance with local regulations.
