The paint is produced in two bases, A (white). It can be tinted manually or by computer (machine) to colors close to RAL, NCS, and other color catalogs.

** at t (+20±2)°C and relative air humidity of no more than (65±5)%. If the temperature decreases or humidity increases, the drying time may increase. At an air temperature below +15°C or relative air humidity above 65%, the next layer should be applied no earlier than 24 hours later.

White covering primer-paint is intended for preparing substrates before painting, wallpapering, and applying other decorative coatings indoors and outdoors.

Using primer-paint as the first layer in a painting system eliminates substrate contrast and reduces paint consumption by up to 34%*, especially for saturated and bright colors.
Improves the uniformity of the finish coat application without streaks or spots.
Evens out the absorbency of the substrate.
The white color of the primer-paint serves as an additional marker during application.
Vapor-permeable.
Blocks the growth of mold and fungi on the surface.
Used for creating a decorative-protective finish layer as part of external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) with external plaster layers.
*Estimated paint savings in base C, tinted to a saturated color, when using primer-paint is up to 34% compared to the traditional scheme of three layers of paint without primer-paint.

Allowed for use in buildings and structures of types:
Type A — residential buildings and dormitories; buildings and premises of organizations for education and training, recreation and health improvement of children and youth; healthcare organizations; homes for the disabled and elderly; sanatoriums; holiday homes; indoor sports facilities; office premises with permanent human presence in administrative buildings at industrial enterprises and other facilities of types B and C.
Type B — food industry enterprises, trade and catering facilities; hotels; industrial goods stores; communication enterprises; consumer service enterprises; cultural and entertainment facilities and other objects; administrative buildings.
Type C — industrial enterprises, auxiliary and utility rooms and structures; warehouses; garages.

The primer-paint can be tinted using a computer (machine) method in colors close to those in RAL, NCS, and other color catalogs.
It is permissible to add up to 5% of tinting pastes by weight of the primer-paint. Manual tinting is possible using water-based tinting pastes.
The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the tinting result.
Depending on the application conditions and the texture of the surface being painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog.
Before use, perform a test application and check the dried coating for color matching.
To avoid differences in shade, it is recommended to use a product from the same production batch on one visual plane (the batch number is indicated on each package) or to pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged.

Surface preparation:
Surface preparation should be carried out in accordance with SP 71.13330.2017.

• Clean the base of dust and dirt. From previously painted surfaces, remove loose layers of old paint and whitewash.
• Sand hard and firmly adhering glossy surfaces to a matte finish, and remove sanding dust.
• Surfaces previously covered with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
• Intensively absorbent surfaces should be pre-primed with Bergauf Techno Primer deep-penetrating primer to increase the reliability of the coating and reduce the consumption of the primer paint.

Work procedure:
The surface to be painted must be dry and clean, the base temperature for work must be from +5°C, the room temperature during paint application must be from +5°C to +35°C, and the relative air humidity must be below 80%.
It is recommended to use primer paint from the same production batch to avoid differences in shade.
Stir the primer paint thoroughly. It is necessary to stir with a wide, flat stick or a construction mixer at low speeds, carefully, avoiding the formation of air bubbles, for 1–3 minutes.
It is not recommended to mix the material by shaking the closed container. After transportation and/or active mixing, if air bubbles appear, the primer paint needs to settle until they disappear.
Apply the primer paint to the prepared dry, clean surface with a brush, roller, or spray gun.
For rough surfaces, such as textured plasters, brick, concrete blocks, and relief ceilings, it is recommended to use rollers with a pile length of 12–25 mm. For rough surfaces, such as putties, plasters, concrete, glass fiber, and painter's fleece — with a pile length
of 8–12 mm. For smooth surfaces, such as drywall, MDF, chipboard, and architectural decor elements (architraves, moldings, ceiling cornices) — with a pile length of up to 6 mm.
The primer-paint is ready for use. For airless spraying, dilution with water by 5–10% is permitted.
When carrying out work, avoid exposure to direct sunlight and conditions of high humidity.
After finishing work, wash hands and tools thoroughly with warm water.

Safety precautions
Work should be carried out using personal protective equipment for hands, eyes, and respiratory tract. Use in well-ventilated areas.

Store and transport in a tightly closed container at a temperature of no less than +5°C and no more than +35°C. Freezing up to five times is permitted for a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at temperatures not lower than -40°C.
The product bucket should be protected from excessive heat and stored away from direct sunlight. Provided the conditions are met, the guaranteed shelf life in the original sealed packaging is 24 months from the date of manufacture. During storage, the product may separate, which is easily corrected by stirring. Keep any partially used product in a tightly closed container and use as soon as possible.
The product is fire- and explosion-proof and does not contain flammable components.
