The paint is produced as base A and can be tinted using a computer (machine) method. Base A is intended for tinting into light and pastel shades, and can also be used as white paint.
The paint can be tinted in accordance with NCS, RAL, and other tinting systems; it is permissible to add up to 5% of tinting pastes by weight of the paint.
Manual tinting is possible using water-based tinting pastes. To avoid differences in shade on a single surface, use a product with the same batch number (see on the packaging) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio. The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the result.
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface being painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog. Before use, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color compliance.
After adding tinting pastes, the product should be used as soon as possible to avoid changes in the properties of the tinted material during storage.
Surface preparation
Surface preparation should be carried out in accordance with SP 71.13330.2017. Clean the surface of dust and dirt. From previously painted surfaces, remove loose layers of old paint and whitewash. Hard and firmly adhering glossy surfaces should be sanded to a matte finish, and sanding dust should be removed.
Level out irregularities, depressions, cracks, and chips with Bergauf UNI PASTA water-dispersion putty and sand them down. Surfaces previously covered with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
Intensively absorbent surfaces should be primed beforehand to increase coating reliability and reduce paint consumption. It is recommended to use primers from the Praktik line (depending on the type of surface).
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in tightly closed containers at a temperature of no less than +5°C and no more than +35°C. Freezing up to five times for a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at temperatures not lower than -40°C is permitted.
The bucket with the product should be protected from excessive heat and stored away from direct sunlight. If conditions are met, the guaranteed shelf life in the original sealed packaging is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, the product may separate, which is easily corrected by stirring. Keep any remaining product in a tightly closed container and use it as soon as possible.
Safety
The product is fire and explosion-proof and does not contain flammable components.
