The paint is intended for painting facades of residential and administrative buildings. The paint can be applied to surfaces made of brick, concrete, asbestos cement, plastered and previously painted surfaces exposed to atmospheric influences, as well as used indoors to obtain coatings resistant to wet cleaning and washing.
The paint can be applied to concrete, brick, fiberboard and chipboard, drywall, plastered, and previously painted surfaces (but not glossy). Not recommended for painting plinths.
For manual and mechanized application.
Tinting and color solutions
The paint is produced in two bases, A and C, and can be tinted using a computer (machine) system into RAL, NCS, and other color catalog shades. Base A is intended for tinting into light and pastel shades and can also be used as a white paint; it is permissible to add up to 5% tinting paste by weight of the paint. Base C is used only in a tinted state and is intended for tinting into saturated shades; it is permissible to add up to 10% tinting paste by weight of the paint.
When painting in bright colors using Base C, it is recommended to first apply a layer of Base A paint tinted to a similar shade. Manual tinting using water-based tinting pastes is possible.
The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the result.
Color rendering features
Depending on application conditions and the texture of the surface being painted, actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog. Before use, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color accuracy.
To avoid differences in shade, it is recommended to use a product from the same production batch on a single visual plane (the batch number is indicated on each package) or to pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged.
Surface preparation
Surface preparation must be carried out in accordance with SP 71.13330.2017. Clean the surface of dust and dirt. Remove loose layers of old paint and whitewash from previously painted surfaces. Sand hard and firmly adhering glossy surfaces to a matte finish, and remove sanding dust.
Level out irregularities, depressions, cracks, and chips with water-dispersion putty and sand them down. Surfaces previously covered with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
Intensively absorbent surfaces should be primed beforehand to increase coating reliability and reduce paint consumption. It is recommended to use primers from the Praktik line (depending on the type of surface).
Work procedure
The surface to be painted must be dry and clean, the surface temperature for work must be from +5°C, the air temperature during paint application must be from +10°C to +35°C, and the relative air humidity must be below 80%. It is recommended to use paint from the same production batch to avoid differences in the shade of the final layer.
Material preparation
Stir the paint thoroughly. It is necessary to stir with a wide, flat stick or a construction mixer at low speeds, carefully, avoiding the formation of air bubbles, for 1–3 minutes. It is not recommended to stir the material by shaking the closed can. After transportation and/or active stirring, if air bubbles appear, the paint needs to settle until they disappear.
Application technology
Apply the paint to a prepared, dry, clean surface with a brush, roller, or spray gun. For rough surfaces such as textured plasters, brick, concrete blocks, and embossed ceilings, it is recommended to use rollers with a pile length of 12–25 mm. For rough surfaces such as putties, plasters, concrete, glass fiber, and painter's fleece — with a pile length of 8–12 mm. For smooth surfaces such as drywall, MDF, chipboard, and architectural decor elements (architraves, moldings, ceiling cornices) — with a pile length of up to 6 mm.
The paint is ready for use; for application with a brush or roller, it is possible to dilute with water by no more than 5% if necessary. For airless spraying, dilution with water by 5–10% is allowed, nozzle 0.013–0.015″, pressure 180–190 bar. The spray angle is chosen based on the area and geometric features of the surface being painted.
To obtain a saturated color and improve the appearance of the surface, it is necessary to apply two layers of paint.
Precautions
When performing work, avoid exposure to direct sunlight and conditions of high humidity.
After finishing work, wash hands and tools thoroughly with warm water.
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in a tightly closed container at a temperature of at least +5°C and no more than +35°C. Five-fold freezing is allowed for a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at a temperature not lower than -40°C.
The bucket with the product should be protected from excessive heat and stored away from direct sunlight. If conditions are met, the guaranteed shelf life in a sealed factory packaging is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, the product may separate, which is easily corrected by stirring. Keep partially used product in a tightly closed container and use as soon as possible.
Safety
The product is fire and explosion-proof and does not contain flammable components.
