The paint is intended for painting the facades of residential and administrative buildings. The paint can be applied to surfaces made of brick, concrete, asbestos cement, as well as plastered and previously painted surfaces exposed to atmospheric influences, and can also be used indoors to obtain coatings resistant to wet cleaning and washing.
The paint can be applied to concrete, brick, fiberboard, and particle board, gypsum plasterboard, and plastered or previously painted surfaces (but not glossy ones). It is not recommended for painting plinths.
For manual and mechanized application.
Tinting and color solutions
The paint is produced in two bases, A and C, and can be tinted using a computer (machine) method into RAL, NCS, and other color catalog shades. Base A is intended for tinting into light and pastel shades and can also be used as a white paint; it is permissible to add up to 5% of tinting pastes by weight of the paint. Base C is used only in a tinted form and is intended for tinting into saturated shades; it is permissible to add up to 10% of tinting pastes by weight of the paint.
When painting in bright colors using base C, it is recommended to first apply a layer of base A paint tinted to a similar shade. Manual tinting using water-based tinting pastes is possible.
The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the tinting result.
Color rendering features
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface being painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog. Before use, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color compliance.
To avoid shade differences, it is recommended to use products from the same production batch on a single visual plane (the batch number is indicated on each package) or to pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged.
Surface preparation
Surface preparation should be carried out in accordance with SP 71.13330.2017. Clean the surface of dust and dirt. From previously painted surfaces, remove loose layers of old paint and whitewash. Hard and firmly adhering glossy surfaces should be sanded to a matte finish, and sanding dust should be removed.
Unevenness, depressions, cracks, and chips should be leveled with water-dispersion putty and sanded. Surfaces previously covered with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
Intensively absorbent surfaces should be primed beforehand to increase coating reliability and reduce paint consumption. It is recommended to use primers from the Praktik line (depending on the type of surface).
Work procedure
The surface to be painted must be dry and clean; the base temperature for work should be from +5°C, the air temperature during paint application from +10°C to +35°C, and the relative air humidity below 80%. It is recommended to use paint from the same production batch to avoid differences in the shade of the finish layer.
Material preparation
Stir the paint thoroughly. It must be stirred with a wide, flat stick or a construction mixer at low speed, carefully, avoiding the formation of air bubbles, for 1–3 minutes. It is not recommended to mix the material by shaking the closed container. After transportation and/or active mixing, if air bubbles appear, the paint needs to settle until they disappear.
Application technology
Apply the paint to a prepared, dry, clean surface using a brush, roller, or spray gun. For rough surfaces such as textured plasters, brick, concrete blocks, and relief ceilings, it is recommended to use rollers with a pile length of 12–25 mm. For rough surfaces such as putties, plasters, concrete, glass fiber, and painter's fleece, use a pile length of 8–12 mm. For smooth surfaces such as drywall, MDF, chipboard, and architectural decor elements (architraves, moldings, ceiling cornices), use a pile length of up to 6 mm.
The paint is ready for use; for application by brush or roller, it can be diluted with water by no more than 5% if necessary. For airless spraying, dilution with water by 5–10% is permitted, using a 0.013–0.015″ nozzle at a pressure of 180–190 bar. The spray angle should be chosen based on the area and geometric features of the surface being painted.
To obtain a saturated color and improve the appearance of the surface, it is necessary to apply two coats of paint.
Precautions
When performing work, avoid exposure to direct sunlight and high humidity conditions.
After finishing work, wash hands and tools thoroughly with warm water.
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in a tightly closed container at a temperature of at least +5°C and no more than +35°C. Five-fold freezing is permitted for a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at a temperature not lower than -40°C.
The bucket with the product should be protected from excessive heat and stored away from direct sunlight. If conditions are met, the guaranteed shelf life in the original sealed packaging is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, the product may separate, which is easily corrected by stirring. Keep any remaining product in a tightly closed container and use it as soon as possible.
Safety
The product is fire and explosion-proof and does not contain flammable components.
