* Material consumption depends on the quality of base preparation, application method, tools used, qualifications of the workers, and may differ from the indicated values.
**A certain content of particles differing from the main color is allowed, which does not affect the technical characteristics of the product. This is explained by the presence of fillers of natural origin in the composition.
*** The stated quality indicators and recommendations are valid for an ambient temperature of +20°C and a relative humidity of 60%. Under other conditions, the drying and adjustment time may differ from those indicated.
Purpose and properties
High-quality, ready-to-use plaster based on the most modern solutions for use in facade thermal insulation systems based on mineral wool and expanded polystyrene, as well as for finishing inside dry and damp rooms in buildings and structures of types A, B, C.
The innovative composition forms a coating with high strength, a self-cleaning effect, and the best ratio of high vapor permeability and low water absorption. Reinforcing microfibers give the coating additional strength, elasticity, and resistance to shrinkage.
Technical features
The hybrid nature of the material ensures excellent adhesion and the formation of strong bonds both with the base and within the coating itself; vertical bonds facilitate the formation of micro-tunnels for steam removal. The coating is resistant to mold and fungus. It can be tinted into pastel and saturated colors.
The plastic, easy-to-work consistency allows you to easily and quickly apply the plaster to the surface and form the desired texture.
Tinting
Decorative plaster is produced as a base and can be tinted by computer (machine) method into RAL, NCS, and other color catalog colors. Manual tinting is possible using water-based tinting pastes that have high light and weather resistance. The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the result.
Color rendering features
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the painted surface, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog.
Before use, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color compliance.
To avoid differences in shade, it is recommended to use a product from the same production batch on one visual plane (the batch number is indicated on each package) or to pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged.
Color recommendations
It is recommended to use BERGAUF FACADE GRUNT primer in a color close to the color of the plaster used.
The use of intense or dark-colored materials on facades with a reflection coefficient of less than 25% should be limited to small surfaces occupying no more than 10% of the facade, for example, individual architectural details.
Application technology
Work should be carried out in accordance with SP 293.1 325 800.2017.
Before application, the plaster must be thoroughly mixed, as product separation may occur during storage. Dilution of the plaster with water in an amount of no more than 5% by weight of the material is permitted.
Apply the plaster with a stainless steel trowel at an angle of 60° to the surface; the layer thickness should correspond to the grain size of the plaster. After some time, when the mixture stops sticking to the tool, you can proceed to forming the texture with a plastic trowel. The plastic trowel should be held parallel to the surface and the texture should be formed with light movements, without pressure.
The "pebble" texture is formed with small circular movements of the trowel, directed in one direction, as a rule, counter-clockwise.
Work execution features
In case it is necessary to stop work at the boundary of the plaster layer, masking tape is glued on, which must be removed before the plaster hardens. To obtain a uniform texture, a sufficient number of workers should be provided at each level of scaffolding, and the connection of sections between adjacent levels should be carried out using the "wet-on-wet" method.
At an ambient temperature below +20°C and a relative humidity above 60%, the decorative plaster should be protected from direct sunlight, wind, and rain for the first 3 days after application. Under such conditions, it is recommended to cover the scaffolding with a special net or film and install water drainage systems on the building. Do not allow freezing or drying out.
Interior finishing should be carried out only in well-ventilated rooms, and after finishing work, maintain air circulation until the coating is completely dry.
Subsequent work
The surface of the decorative plaster can be painted with acrylic, silicone, or silicate paints. Painting is carried out no earlier than 3-5 days later, depending on environmental conditions.
Clean tools with water immediately after work. If the tools were not cleaned immediately, they can only be cleaned mechanically later.
Limitations
It is forbidden to work during atmospheric precipitation, fog, as well as on wet surfaces after rain and at temperatures below +5 and above +30 °C.
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in tightly closed containers at a temperature of at least +5° and no more than +30°C. Five-fold freezing with a total duration of no more than 3 weeks at a temperature not lower than -20°C is allowed.
The bucket with the product should be protected from excessive heat and storage in direct sunlight should be avoided. If conditions are met, the warranty shelf life in closed factory packaging is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
Safety
The product is fire and explosion-proof and does not contain flammable components.
