Application technologyWork should be carried out in accordance with SP 293.1325800.2017.
Before application, the plaster must be thoroughly mixed, as product separation may occur during storage. It is permissible to dilute the plaster with water in an amount not exceeding 5% of the material's weight.
Apply the plaster with a stainless steel trowel at a 60° angle to the surface; the layer thickness should correspond to the grain size of the plaster. Within 25–35 minutes (depending on temperature and humidity) after application (when the material stops sticking to the tool), form the desired texture using a plastic trowel. The plastic trowel should be held parallel to the surface and the texture formed with light movements, without pressure.
The "pebble" texture is formed with small circular movements of the trowel, directed in one direction, usually counter-clockwise.
Features of work executionIf it is necessary to stop work, apply masking tape along the edge of the plaster layer, which must be removed before the plaster hardens. To obtain a uniform texture, ensure a sufficient number of workers at each level of scaffolding and perform the joining of sections between adjacent levels using the "wet-on-wet" method.
After application, the decorative plaster should be protected from direct sunlight, wind, and rain for the first 2-3 days. Under such conditions, it is recommended to cover the scaffolding with a special net or film and install water drainage systems on the building. Do not allow freezing or drying out.
Interior finishing should be carried out only in well-ventilated rooms, and after the work is completed, air circulation should be maintained until the coating is completely dry.
Subsequent worksIt is recommended to use acrylic, silicone, or silicate paints for painting the surface of the decorative plaster. Painting is carried out no earlier than 3–5 days later, depending on environmental conditions.
Tinting- Tinting is possible using water-based tinting pastes with high light and weather resistance, in accordance with NCS, RAL, and other tinting systems. Depending on the application conditions and the texture of the surface being painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog.
- It is recommended to add no more than 5% of colorant, as an overdose negatively affects the strength and application properties of the coating. To avoid color variations, it is recommended to use a product from the same production batch on a single surface (the batch number is indicated on each package) or to pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged.
- The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the result. Before application, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color compliance.
Color recommendationsIt is recommended to use the "Bergauf FACADE GRUNT" primer in a color close to the color of the plaster being used.
The use of intense or dark-colored materials with a reflection coefficient of less than 25% on facades should be limited to small surfaces occupying no more than 10% of the facade, for example, individual architectural details.
Cleaning toolsClean tools with water immediately after use. If the tools were not cleaned immediately, they can only be cleaned mechanically later.
LimitationsIt is forbidden to work during precipitation, fog, or on wet surfaces after rain, and at temperatures below +5°C and above +35°C.
SafetyAttention! The product is fire and explosion-proof and does not contain flammable components.
