Styrene-acrylic
Primer consumption per 1 sq. m**:
0.2–0.5 kg
Maximum particle size:
up to 0.5 mm

* under normal conditions (temperature – 20°C, humidity – 60%)
** depending on the base’s absorbency and the application layer
*** adhesion is determined according to the company’s internal method
It is available in white; if necessary, it can be tinted to the color of the subsequent coating. Tinting is carried out with pigment pastes based on water; in the primer, it is allowed to add no more than 5% of the tinting paste by weight of the material. The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the tinting result. Before use, it is necessary to carry out a test application and check the dried coating for compliance with the color. To avoid variations in tone, it is recommended to use the product from a single production batch on one surface (batch number is indicated on each package) or to pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged. Depending on application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface being painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from the reference samples.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The substrate must meet the requirements of SP 293.1 325 800.2017, be dry, solid, and free of dust, dirt, flaking old coatings, and oil stains—everything that may impair adhesion to the substrate.
WORK PROCEDURE
Before starting work, thoroughly mix the contents of the bucket. The primer is applied without dilution with a brush in one pass, in a thin, even layer. The primer dries in approximately 3 hours. The subsequent coating is applied only after the previous primer layer has completely dried.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The primer is fire and explosion safe and non-toxic. Wear gloves during work. After use, rinse the tools with water.
The primer must be stored in the manufacturer’s hermetically sealed packaging, in a covered warehouse, to prevent exposure to direct sunlight at temperatures from +5 to +30℃. A 5-fold freezing process is permitted with a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at temperatures not lower than minus 40 °C.
Shelf life warranty period: 12 months.
