*Material consumption depends on the quality of surface preparation, the application method, the tools used, the qualifications of the contractors, and may differ from the values given.
**At t (+20±2) °C and relative air humidity of no more than (65±5) %. When the temperature decreases or the humidity increases, drying time may increase.
Paint tinting can be carried out in accordance with NCS, RAL and other tinting systems; it is permissible to add up to 5% of tinting pastes by weight of the paint.
To avoid differences in shade on the same surface, use the product with the same batch number (see the packaging) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio. Responsibility for the result of tinting lies with the organization performing the tinting.
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface being painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those shown in the color catalog. Before use, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color conformity.
After adding tinting pastes, the product should be used within the shortest possible time to avoid changes in the properties of the tinted material during storage.
Preparing the substrate
Carry out surface preparation in accordance with SP 71.13330.2017. Clean the substrate of dust and dirt. Surfaces previously coated with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
Sand solid and firmly adhering glossy surfaces until they become matte; remove the dust from sanding. From previously painted surfaces, remove any loose layers of old paint and whitewash. Level out unevenness, pits, cracks, and chips with a water-dispersed putty, then sand it.
Pre-treat highly absorbent surfaces with a primer in advance to improve coating reliability and reduce paint consumption. It is recommended to use primers and putties from the Bergauf range (depending on the type of substrate).
Work procedure
The surface to be painted must be dry and clean; the surface and ambient air temperature must be at least +5 °C, and the relative humidity must be below 80%. The room temperature during application of the paint is from +5 °C to 35 °C, and the relative air humidity is (65±5) %.
Stir the paint thoroughly before use. The paint is ready for use. To avoid differences in shade, use paint from a single batch. Before carrying out the work, perform a test coat on the surface to check that it matches the color.
Application method
The material is applied with a roller, brush, trowel, sponge, and special tools for decorative materials. The maximum layer thickness is 2–3 mm. After evenly distributing the material over the surface with this same roller, they begin to create a relief pattern, moving the roller from top to bottom. The intensity of the relief depends on the number of passes when forming the pattern.
To achieve the desired relief, use textured rollers or a notched trowel.
After finishing, wash hands and tools thoroughly with warm water.
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in tightly sealed containers at a temperature of at least +5° and no more than +35°C. Up to five freeze-thaw cycles are allowed with a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at a temperature not below –40°C.
The product bucket should be protected from excessive heating and storage in direct sunlight should be avoided. If the warranty conditions are met, the shelf life in the closed factory packaging is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, the product may separate, which is easily eliminated by stirring. Keep any partially used product in a tightly closed container and use it within the shortest possible time.
Safety
The product is fire- and explosion-safe and does not contain flammable components.
