*Material consumption depends on the quality of surface preparation, application method, the tools used, the qualifications of the installers and may differ from the stated values.
**At t (+20±2) °C and relative air humidity no more than (65±5) %. When the temperature decreases or humidity increases, drying time may increase.
Paint tinting may be carried out in accordance with NCS, RAL and other tinting systems; it is permissible to add up to 5% tinting pastes by mass of the paint.
To avoid differences in shade on the same surface, use a product with the same batch number (see on the package) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio. The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the tinting result.
Depending on the application conditions and the texture of the surface to be painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those presented in the color catalog. Before use, you must perform a test application and check the dried coating for compliance with the color.
After adding tinting pastes, the product should be used within the shortest possible time to avoid changes in the properties of the tinted material during storage.
Surface preparation
Prepare the surface in accordance with SP 71.13330.2017. Remove dust and dirt from the surface. Surfaces previously coated with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
Sand solid and firmly adhering glossy surfaces until they become matte; remove dust from sanding. Remove weak layers of old paint and whitewash from previously painted surfaces. Level irregularities, depressions, cracks, and chips with a water-dispersed putty, then sand.
Heavily absorbent surfaces should be pre-primed to improve coating reliability and reduce paint consumption. It is recommended to use primers and putties from the Bergauf range (depending on the type of substrate).
Order of work
The surface to be painted must be dry and clean; the surface and air temperature must be at least +5 °C, and the relative air humidity must be below 80%. The temperature in the room during paint application is from +5 °C to 35 °C, and the relative air humidity is (65±5)%.
Stir the paint thoroughly before use. The paint is ready for use. To avoid differences in shade, use paint from the same batch. Before carrying out the work, apply a test coat to check that the color matches.
Application technology
The material is applied with a roller, brush, trowel, sponge, and a special tool for decorative materials. The maximum layer thickness is 2–3 mm. After evenly distributing the material over the surface with the same roller, begin creating a relief by rolling from top to bottom. The intensity of the relief depends on the number of passes when forming the pattern.
To achieve the desired relief, use textured rollers or a notched trowel.
After finishing the work, wash hands and tools thoroughly with warm water.
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in tightly sealed containers at a temperature of at least +5° and no more than +35°C. Up to five freeze-thaw cycles are permitted with a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at a temperature not below –40°C.
The product bucket should be protected from excessive heating and storage in direct sunlight should be avoided. If the conditions are met, the warranty storage period in the closed factory packaging is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, the product may separate; this can be easily corrected by mixing. Keep not fully used product in a tightly sealed container and use it within the shortest possible time.
Safety
The product is fire- and explosion-safe and contains no flammable components.
