Purpose:
The paint is designed to add texture to the surface and for decorative finishing of walls and ceilings indoors (offices, halls, lobbies), including in areas with increased humidity (kitchens, bathrooms, corridors, stairways). It allows for forming various textured patterns. After drying, it forms a durable structural coating that is resistant to light washing with non-abrasive detergents. It has high decorative properties, good coverage, and high adhesion to the surface being painted.

*Material consumption depends on the quality of surface preparation and the substrate’s absorbency, the application method, the tool used, the skill of the contractors, and may differ from the stated values.
**At t (+20±2)°C and relative air humidity of no more than (65±5)%. When the temperature decreases or the humidity increases, the drying time may increase. At an air temperature below +15°C or relative air humidity above 65%, the next coat should be applied no sooner than after 24 hours.

The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the tinting result.
Depending on the application conditions and the texture of the painted surface, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those shown in the color catalog.
Before use, perform a test application and check the dried coating for color conformity.
After adding tinting pastes, the product should be used within the shortest possible time to avoid changes in the properties of the tinted material during storage.
To avoid differences in shade, it is recommended that on one visible surface you use a product from a single production batch (batch number is indicated on each package) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged.

Preparing the substrate

Prepare the surface in accordance with SP 71.13 330.2017.
Clean the surface from dust and dirt. On previously painted surfaces, remove loose layers of old paint and limewash. Sand hard and firmly adhering glossy surfaces until they become matte; remove dust from sanding. Level out unevenness, pits, cracks and chips with putty Bergauf, sand until smooth.
Surfaces previously coated with chalk or lime-based paints must be thoroughly cleaned until fully removed. Highly absorbent surfaces should be pre-primed with Praktik primer strengthening for painting to improve coating reliability and reduce paint consumption.

Working procedure

The surface to be painted must be dry and clean. The air and substrate temperature during application is from +5°C to +35°C, and the relative humidity of the air is below 80%.
Thoroughly mix the paint before application; the paint is ready to use.
To avoid differences in shade, use paint from the same batch. Before carrying out work, make a test coat on the surface to check that it matches the color.
Maximum thickness of one layer is 2–3 mm; several layers may be applied depending on the required decorative effect.
The material is applied with a roller, brush, sponge, stamp, trowel, and a Venetian trowel, followed by giving it texture. Please note that the surface to be painted must be covered corner to corner over the entire area due to the difficulty of joining several layers after they dry.
To obtain a «fur» texture, the material is evenly distributed over the surface with a stainless-steel trowel, followed by structuring with a roller, or the material is distributed immediately with a roller; using the same roller, start creating the relief by moving it from top to bottom. The intensity of the relief depends on the number of passes when forming the pattern. To achieve the desired relief, use structural or painting rollers.
After finishing the work, thoroughly wash hands and tools with warm water.

Safety precautions
The work should be carried out using personal protective equipment for hands, eyes and respiratory pathways. Use in well-ventilated areas. If it gets into the eyes, immediately rinse the eyes with water. If it gets on the skin, rinse with water and soap.

Storage and transportation conditions

Store and transport in tightly closed containers at a temperature of at least +5° and no more than +35°C. Five-fold freezing with a total duration of no more than 2 weeks is allowed, at temperatures not lower than -40°C.
The bucket with the product should be protected from excessive heating and should not be stored in direct sunlight. If the storage conditions are met, the guaranteed shelf life in a closed factory package is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, the product may stratify, which is easily eliminated by stirring. Do not keep a not fully used product in a tightly sealed container and use it within the shortest possible time.

Disposal
Do not pour paint and coating products into the sewer system, water bodies, or onto the ground. Dispose of dry, empty containers in accordance with local legislation; pass liquid residues to hazardous waste collection points.
