The paint is supplied as Base A and can be tinted using a computer (machine) method. Base A is intended for tinting into light and pastel shades; it can also be used as white paint.
The paint can be tinted in accordance with NCS, RAL and other tinting systems; it is acceptable to add up to 5% tinting pastes by weight of the paint.
Manual tinting with water-based tinting pastes is also possible. To avoid differences in shade on the same surface, use a product with the same batch number (see on the package) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio. The organization carrying out the tinting is responsible for the tinting result.
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface to be painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those shown in the color catalog. Before use, it is necessary to apply a test coat and check the dried coating for color conformity.
After adding tinting pastes, the product should be used within the shortest possible time to avoid changes in the properties of the tinted material during storage.
Surface preparation
Prepare the surface in accordance with SP 71.13 330.2017. Clean the surface from dust and dirt. From previously painted surfaces, remove weakly adhering layers of old paint and whitewash. Sand solid and firmly adhering glossy surfaces until matte, and remove sanding dust.
Level unevenness, hollows, cracks and chips with a water-dispersed putty Bergauf UNI PASTA, then sand. Surfaces previously coated with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
Highly absorbent surfaces should be pre-primed to improve coating reliability and reduce paint consumption. It is recommended to use primers from the Praktik line (depending on the type of base).
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in tightly sealed containers at a temperature of not less than +5° and not more than +35°С. Up to five freeze-thaw cycles are permitted for a total duration of no more than 2 weeks at a temperature not below -40°С.
Protect the bucket with the product from excessive heating and avoid storing in direct sunlight. If the conditions are met, the warranty storage period in a closed factory package is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, the product may separate, which is easily resolved by stirring. Do not keep an incompletely used product in a tightly sealed container and use it within the shortest possible time.
Safety
The product is fire- and explosion-safe and contains no flammable components.
