relative air humidity above 65%, apply the next coat no sooner than after 24 hours.
The paint is supplied as Base A and can be machine-colored (computer-tinted). Base A is intended for tinting into light and pastel shades; it can also be used as white paint.
Paint tinting can be carried out in accordance with NCS, RAL and other tinting systems; it is permissible to add up to 5% of tinting pastes by weight of the paint.
Manual tinting with water-based tinting pastes is possible. To avoid differences in shade on the same surface, use a product with the same batch number (see on the package) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio. Responsibility for the result of tinting lies with the organization performing the tinting.
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface being painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those shown in the color catalog. Before use, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color conformity.
After adding tinting pastes, the product should be used within the shortest possible time to avoid changes in the properties of the tinted material during storage.
Preparing the base
Carry out substrate preparation in accordance with SP 71.13 330.2017. Clean the substrate of dust and dirt. From previously painted surfaces, remove weak layers of old paint and chalkwash. Roughen hard and firmly adhering glossy surfaces until they become matte; remove dust from sanding.
Level out unevenness, depressions, cracks and chips with a water-dispersed putty Bergauf UNI PASTA, then sand. Surfaces previously coated with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
Pre-treat highly absorbent surfaces with a primer in advance to improve coating reliability and reduce paint consumption. It is recommended to use primers from the Praktik range (depending on the type of substrate).
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in tightly sealed containers at a temperature of at least +5° and no more than +35°C. Up to five cycles of freezing with a total duration of no more than 2 weeks are allowed at temperatures not lower than -40°C.
The bucket with the product should be protected from excessive heating and should not be stored in direct sunlight. If the storage conditions are met, the guaranteed shelf life in a closed factory package is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, the product may stratify, which is easily eliminated by stirring. Do not keep a not fully used product in a tightly sealed container and use it within the shortest possible time.
Safety
The product is fire- and explosion-safe and does not contain flammable components.
