The paint is intended for painting facades of residential and administrative buildings. The paint can be applied to surfaces made of brick, concrete, asbestos-cement, plastered and previously painted surfaces exposed to weathering, as well as surfaces used indoors to obtain coatings resistant to damp cleaning and washing.
The paint can be applied to concrete, brick, fibreboard and wood-chip boards, plasterboard (GКL), plastered, previously painted surfaces (but not glossy). Not recommended for painting plinths (socles/bases).
For manual and mechanized application.
Tinting and color solutions
The paint is supplied in the form of two bases, A and C, and can be tinted by computer (machine) to colors RAL, NCS and other color catalogs. Base A is intended for tinting into light and pastel shades; it can also be used as white paint; adding up to 5% tinting pastes by paint weight is permitted. Base C is used only in tinted form and is intended for tinting into saturated shades; adding up to 10% tinting pastes by paint weight is permitted.
When painting in bright colors on the C base, it is recommended to first apply a coat of A-base paint tinted to a similar shade. Manual tinting with water-based tinting pastes is possible.
The organization performing the tinting is responsible for the tinting result.
Color rendering features
Depending on the application conditions, as well as the texture of the surface being painted, the actual color shades may differ slightly from those shown in the color catalog. Before use, it is necessary to perform a test application and check the dried coating for color conformity.
To avoid differences in shade, it is recommended that on one visual surface you use a product from the same production batch (the batch number is indicated on each package) or pre-mix materials from different batches in a 1:1 ratio; the application technology must remain unchanged.
Preparing the substrate
Carry out substrate preparation in accordance with SP 71.13 330.2017. Clean the substrate of dust and dirt. From previously painted surfaces, remove weak layers of old paint and chalkwash. Roughen hard and firmly adhering glossy surfaces until they become matte; remove dust from sanding.
Level out irregularities, pits, cracks, and chips with a water-dispersed putty, then sand. Surfaces previously coated with chalk or lime paints must be thoroughly cleaned until completely removed.
Pre-treat highly absorbent surfaces with a primer in advance to improve coating reliability and reduce paint consumption. It is recommended to use primers from the Praktik range (depending on the type of substrate).
Work procedure
The surface to be painted must be dry and clean; the substrate temperature for performing the work is from +5°C, the air temperature during paint application is from +10°C to +35°C, and the relative air humidity is below 80%. It is recommended to use paint from a single production batch to avoid differences in the shade of the finishing layer.
Material preparation
Stir the paint thoroughly. It is necessary to mix with a wide, flat paddle or with a construction mixer at low speed, carefully, without allowing air bubbles to form, for 1−3 minutes. It is not recommended to mix the material by shaking a sealed can. After transportation and/or active stirring, if air bubbles appear, the paint needs to stand until they disappear.
Application method
Apply the paint to a prepared, dry, clean surface with a brush, roller, or paint sprayer. For rough surfaces such as textured plasters, brick, concrete blocks, and relief ceilings, it is recommended to use rollers with a pile length of 12−25 mm. For rough surfaces such as putties, plasters, concrete, glass mat, and painter’s flocking fabric — with a pile length of 8−12 mm. For smooth surfaces such as plasterboard, MDF, particle board, architectural decorative elements (trim pieces, mouldings, ceiling cornices) — with a pile length of up to 6 mm.
The paint is ready for use; for application with a brush or roller, if necessary you may dilute it with water by no more than 5%. For airless spraying, water dilution of 5−10% is allowed; nozzle 0,013−0,015″, pressure 180−190 bar. The spray angle is selected based on the area and the geometric features of the surface being painted.
To achieve a rich color and improve the appearance of the surface, apply two coats of paint.
Precautions
When carrying out work, avoid exposure to direct sunlight and conditions of high humidity.
After finishing the work, wash your hands and tools thoroughly with warm water.
Storage and transportation conditions
Store and transport in tightly closed containers at a temperature of at least +5° and no more than +35°C. Five-fold freezing with a total duration of no more than 2 weeks is allowed, at temperatures not lower than -40°C.
The bucket with the product should be protected from excessive heating and should not be stored in direct sunlight. If the storage conditions are met, the guaranteed shelf life in a closed factory package is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
During storage, the product may stratify, which is easily eliminated by stirring. Do not keep a not fully used product in a tightly sealed container and use it within the shortest possible time.
Safety
The product is fire- and explosion-safe and does not contain flammable components.
